How Attribution Works
The 30-day window starts the moment someone clicks your referral link. Subscribe inside that window and the sale is yours. Once a customer is attributed to you, that attribution sticks. Every later payment, renewal and plan upgrade keeps paying your rate, well past day 30.
Two rules are worth knowing up front. If the cookie expires before the visitor subscribes, no commission is earned. And if the visitor clicks another affiliate's link after yours, last click wins.
Cookies and consent by region
Tracking adapts to where the visitor is, which affects how many of your clicks get recorded. In the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia and most other countries, the cookie is set immediately on click, with no banner and no friction, so virtually every click is tracked. In the European Union, UK, Switzerland and Brazil, GDPR and LGPD require opt-in: the cookie is only set after the visitor accepts marketing cookies on our consent banner. That is a legal requirement applying to every affiliate program operating in those regions, not a limitation of ours, but it does mean a slice of European clicks will never appear in any affiliate dashboard.

Do I earn commission on renewals?
Yes. Commission is recurring, not one-time. You earn your rate on every payment the customer makes, including monthly and annual renewals, for as long as they remain subscribed.
Do I need a Multi Upload Tool account to become an affiliate?
No. The affiliate program is completely separate from the app. You apply directly on the Affonso dashboard, get approved, and receive your referral link. No product subscription or app signup required.
How long is the affiliate cookie?
30 days, which is the standard attribution window for SaaS affiliate programs. If the visitor subscribes within 30 days of clicking your link, the sale is attributed to you. Once attributed, all their future payments generate commission, even beyond the 30-day window.
What happens if my referral upgrades their plan?
Your commission automatically adjusts to your rate applied to the new plan price. A referral who moves from Basic to Pro takes your payout from $3.50 to $7.00 per month at the 35% rate.
Can I get a higher commission rate?
Yes. Rates go up to 45% for high-performing affiliates. If you drive consistent traffic or have a large audience in the content creator space, contact us at contact@multi-upload-tool.com to discuss a custom rate.
Are add-on purchases commissionable?
No. Extra account packs and other add-ons are excluded. Only the main subscription plans (Basic, Pro, Business and Agency) generate commission.
Why wasn't a click counted even though someone used my link?
This usually happens when the visitor is in a strict-consent region such as the EU, UK or Brazil. There, the tracking cookie is only set after the visitor explicitly accepts marketing cookies on our consent banner. If they choose essential-only, dismiss the banner, or block cookies, no click is recorded. This is required by GDPR and LGPD and cannot be overridden. Outside those regions the cookie is set immediately, with no consent step.
Can I refer myself?
No. Self-referrals are detected and rejected: Affonso matches affiliate and buyer identities.
How and when do I get paid?
Payouts are processed through Affonso on its standard payout schedule, and the current minimum payout threshold is shown in your affiliate dashboard along with your pending and completed payments.
What if my referral cancels and then resubscribes?
If they resubscribe and are still attributed to you in Affonso, your commission continues.
