X (Twitter) Scheduler: Schedule Tweets in Bulk

Schedule text posts, images, videos (up to 20 min) and polls to X through the official X API. Queue a whole week in one batch, set reply controls and alt text, and cross-post the same upload to TikTok, LinkedIn, and more from one dashboard. Sign in with X: we never see your password.

An X (Twitter) scheduler is a tool that publishes posts to X at a set time, so you can write a week of posts at once instead of posting live. Multi Upload Tool connects to your account through the official X API and schedules text, image, video and poll posts in bulk, guards your accounts against X's duplicate-content rule, and cross-posts the same upload to TikTok, LinkedIn, Bluesky, and more.

X Scheduling Features

Schedule Posts, Images and Video

Schedule text posts, up to 4 images (GIFs included), or one video (MP4, MOV or WebM, up to 1GB and 20 minutes) per post. Write it, attach media, pick a time, and we publish it through the official X API.

Bulk Scheduling

Queue a week or a month of X posts in one batch, each with its own text, media and time. Use the dashboard or the REST API to fill your queue without opening x.com.

Polls, Reply Controls and Communities

Native X options are built in: polls with 2 to 4 choices (5 minutes to 7 days), who can reply (everyone, people you follow, mentioned accounts, verified accounts, subscribers), posting into an X Community, and Super Followers-only posts.

Alt Text, Tags and Captions

Add alt text to every image, tag up to 10 accounts in your photos, and attach SRT or VTT subtitles to videos. Mark posts as made with AI or as a paid partnership, the same labels X offers in its own composer.

X Premium Support

Have X Premium? Turn it on per post to publish up to 25,000 characters and videos up to 125 minutes. Without it, we enforce the standard 280-character limit before the post goes out, so nothing fails at publish time.

Duplicate-Content Guard

X suspends accounts that post the same content across several accounts. We block a post if the same text or the exact same file already went out on another of your X accounts in the last 30 days, before it costs you an account.

How X Scheduling Works

1

Connect Your X Account

Sign in with X through the official OAuth 2.0 flow. We never see your password, and you can revoke access at any time from X's settings under Connected apps.

2

Write Your Post and Attach Media

Write up to 280 characters (25,000 with X Premium). Attach one video or up to 4 images, or add a poll to a text-only post. Add alt text, tags, reply settings and subtitles as needed.

3

Pick a Date and Time

Schedule a single post or a whole batch. Cross-post the same upload to TikTok, LinkedIn, Bluesky and more, each with its own caption and time.

4

We Publish and Track It

At the scheduled time we publish through the X API v2. Impressions, likes, replies and reposts are synced daily for the posts you published through us in the last 29 days.

Best Times to Post on X

Weekdays

8-11 AM and 12-1 PM in your audience's time zone (X is a news-and-commute platform: mornings and lunch breaks drive the most engagement)

Weekends

9-11 AM (engagement drops on weekends, but so does competition in the timeline)

Best Days

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

What You Can Do With X Scheduling

Keep a Daily Posting Cadence

X rewards consistency. Batch-write your posts once a week and let the queue publish 2-5 posts a day at the hours your audience is online, without being glued to the app.

Turn Every Video Into an X Post

Already making TikToks, Reels or Shorts? Publish the same video to X from the same upload, with an X-length caption, instead of re-uploading it by hand.

Launches and Announcements

Schedule a product launch, a newsletter drop or an event reminder to go out at the exact minute, with a poll to collect feedback and replies limited to the people you choose.

Automate X From Your Own Stack

Developers and agencies post to X with one REST call or from AI agents through our MCP server, without applying for their own X API access or paying X's per-post API fees directly.

Native X vs Multi Upload Tool

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you schedule posts on X (Twitter)?

Yes. X's own web composer can schedule one post at a time, but it has no bulk scheduling, no cross-posting and no API for it. Multi Upload Tool connects to your X account through the official X API and publishes text, image, video and poll posts at the exact time you choose, one at a time or in bulk.

How do I schedule tweets with Multi Upload Tool?

Three steps: (1) connect your X account with Sign in with X (OAuth 2.0), (2) write your post, up to 280 characters, with an optional video, up to 4 images or a poll, and (3) pick a date and time. We publish it automatically through the X API v2, and you can schedule a whole week of posts in one sitting or send the same content to TikTok, LinkedIn and more.

How much does it cost to post on X through Multi Upload Tool?

X charges every app for each post published through its API, so X posting runs on credits: 1 credit per post, 15 when the text contains a link (X charges more for posts with links). Paid plans include a monthly allowance: 50 credits on Basic, 150 on Pro, 300 on Business, Agency and Scale. If you need more, credit packs start at $9 for 250 credits and never expire.

What can I post to X?

Text posts up to 280 characters (25,000 with X Premium), one video per post (MP4, MOV or WebM, up to 1GB and 20 minutes, or 125 minutes with Premium), or up to 4 images (5MB each, GIFs up to 15MB). Text-only posts can carry a poll with 2 to 4 choices. X does not allow a poll and media in the same post.

Can I post the same content to several X accounts?

No, and that protects you. X's rules forbid posting identical content across multiple accounts and suspend accounts that do. We refuse a post when the same text or the exact same file was already published on another of your X accounts in the last 30 days, and a bulk upload can target only one X account at a time. Different content on each account is fine.

Do you support X Premium long posts and long videos?

Yes. Turn on the Premium option on a post and we allow up to 25,000 characters and videos up to 125 minutes, the limits X gives Premium subscribers. Only use it on accounts that actually have Premium: X rejects long posts from standard accounts.

Can I see analytics for my X posts?

Yes. Impressions, likes, replies, reposts and quotes are synced once a day for posts published through Multi Upload Tool in the last 29 days, along with your follower count. Posts you made directly on x.com are not tracked, because X bills every analytics read.

Is there a free Twitter scheduler?

X's own composer schedules single posts for free. Multi Upload Tool's free plan covers the other platforms; X posting is included from the Basic plan ($14.99/month, 50 X posts per month), because X charges us for every post published through its API.

Can I post to X from the API or an AI agent?

Yes. Every X option (polls, reply settings, alt text, tags, subtitles, Communities) is available as an x_* field on our REST API and in our MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT and other AI agents. You do not need your own X developer account.

Can I schedule X posts and other platforms at the same time?

Yes. From one dashboard you can schedule the same video to X, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Bluesky. Each platform gets its own caption and settings (X's 280 characters, LinkedIn's long-form text, TikTok's hashtags), so one upload publishes everywhere.
