  • Account Information: When you connect your social media accounts (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn), we collect basic profile information such as your username, display name, and profile picture (avatar) via OAuth authentication.
  • YouTube API Data: When you connect a YouTube account via the YouTube Data API v3, we access and store the following data returned by the API: your YouTube channel ID, channel title and thumbnail, OAuth access token and refresh token, video metadata (title, description, publication date, video URL, thumbnail URL), and video performance statistics (view count, like count, comment count, share count) as reported by YouTube. This data is used solely to display your analytics dashboard and to upload or schedule content on your behalf.
  • Authentication Tokens: We securely store access tokens and refresh tokens provided by the social platforms to allow our application to schedule and post content on your behalf. These tokens are stored only for as long as necessary and are used exclusively for purposes consistent with the specific consent you granted.
  • Usage Data: We use self-hosted Plausible Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics (e.g., page views, browser type) to improve user experience. Plausible is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies or collect personally identifiable information.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies on our website. Here's how we categorize them:

  • Essential Cookies: Required for the website to function properly. These include session cookies and authentication tokens. These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics (Plausible): We use self-hosted Plausible Analytics which is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies. It collects anonymous aggregate data only.
  • Marketing Cookies (Optional): With your consent, we may use:
    • TikTok Pixel: To measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns on TikTok.
    • Affonso: For affiliate tracking and conversion measurement (30-day cookie duration).
  • Local Storage (Application): Our application (app.multi-upload-tool.com) uses the browser's local storage to save non-personal session preferences such as the timestamp of your last analytics sync. This does not contain personal information and is stored directly on your device. You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser storage.

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time using the cookie banner on our website. Marketing cookies are only activated after you give your explicit consent.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To provide the core functionality of our service: scheduling and uploading videos to your connected social media accounts.
  • To display your profile information within the application dashboard.
  • To retrieve and display video performance statistics from each connected platform (including YouTube) so you can monitor your content performance.
  • To compute aggregated posting insights (best day and time to post, video duration analysis) based on your own historical posting data. These computed insights are derived by Multi Upload Tool from data you have already posted and are separate from official platform metrics.
  • To maintain and improve the security and stability of our service.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others. YouTube API Data (including data obtained via the YouTube Data API v3) is used solely for the purposes described above and is never shared with internal teams for unrelated uses or with external parties.

5. Third-Party Services & API Usage

Our service relies on API services provided by third parties. By using our application, you acknowledge and agree to the privacy policies of these third-party services:

YouTube (Google)

We use the YouTube Data API v3 to upload content and manage videos on your YouTube channel. The permissions (OAuth scopes) we request include: uploading videos (youtube.upload) and reading basic channel information (youtube.readonly).

By using our YouTube integration, you agree to be bound by the:

Data accessed via YouTube API: channel ID, channel title, channel thumbnail, video metadata (title, description, publication date, URL, thumbnail), and video statistics (views, likes, comments, shares) as provided by YouTube's API responses. We do not access your private watch history, personal emails, or any data outside the scopes listed above.

Token storage: OAuth tokens are stored securely on our servers (IONOS) and are used exclusively for the purposes for which you granted access. Tokens are invalidated and deleted when you disconnect your YouTube account or delete your account.

You can revoke our access to your YouTube data at any time via the Google Security Settings page.

TikTok

We use the TikTok API to publish videos. Your use of TikTok integration is subject to TikTok's Privacy Policy.

Instagram & Facebook (Meta)

We use the Instagram Graph API and Facebook Graph API. Data processed through this integration is subject to Meta's Privacy Policy.

LinkedIn

We use the LinkedIn API to share content. Your use of LinkedIn integration is subject to LinkedIn's Privacy Policy and User Agreement.

Pinterest

We use the Pinterest API to allow you to publish content on your Pinterest account. Your use of Pinterest integration is subject to the Pinterest Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

6. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We adhere to a strict policy regarding the sharing of your data. We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal information or Google User Data to third parties.

We only share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We may share data with trusted third-party service providers (such as our hosting provider IONOS) solely for the purpose of operating and maintaining our services. These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and cannot use your data for any other purpose.
  • Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information where required to do so by law or subpoena.

Specific Statement on Google User Data: We do not share, transfer, or disclose Google User Data with any third parties, including advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers. The data accessed via the YouTube API is used solely to provide the upload and scheduling features within our application.

7. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on servers hosted by IONOS. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon request, we will permanently delete your personal information from our servers, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Authorization Tokens (OAuth): Access tokens and refresh tokens obtained from Google (YouTube), TikTok, Meta, LinkedIn, and other platforms are stored only for as long as necessary to provide the service and are used solely for purposes consistent with the specific consent granted by you. These tokens are permanently deleted when you disconnect an account, delete your Multi Upload Tool account, or submit a data deletion request. You may also revoke access independently via each platform's security settings (e.g., Google Security Settings for YouTube).
